چکیده
The major and trace element characteristics of the clinopyroxene from two generations dykes, dolerite olivine dykes Western Dharwar Craton were investigated by using electron microprobe LA–ICPMS. in show a compositional zoning with Mg# decreasing core to rim (85 51) Cr2O3 contents decrease towards rim. rare earth (REE) pattern shows lower concentrations REEs compared dolerites are devoid compositionally more primitive than as visible REE concentrations. formed different source magmas fractional crystallization is dominant dolerites. present estimated melt composition equilibrium consistent bulk rock for dolerite.

متن کاملPetrology, geochemistry, and petrogenesis of mafic dykes from the Kermanshah Ophiolite in Sahneh-Harsin area of Western Iran
The Kermanshah ophiolite complex is a part of the Mediterranean–Zagros–Oman Tethyan ophiolites, located in the structural–tectonic zone of western Iran in the northern part of the Zagros main thrust. Doleritic sheeted dykes are well exposed within the ophiolite in the south of Sahneh. These dykes contain high MgO, Na2O, low TiO2 (2O5, and K2O contents, and high FeOt/MgO and LILE/HFSE ratios. Th...
متن کاملMineralogy and geochemistry of pegmatitic dykes in the Boroujerd-Nezam Abad zone with respect to trace and rare earth elements mineralization
Boroujerd-Nezam Abad zone widespread along NW-SE trend in part of Sanandaj-Sirjan zone. Borujerd-Nezam zone consists of hornfels, schist, phyllite, migmatite, granite and granodiorite rock types. Metamorphic (hornfels and schist) and igneous (granitoids) rocks are known as host pegmatitic dykes. Quartz, feldspar, muscovite and tourmaline are the most common pegmatite, and mica are as muscovite ...
متن کاملNd–Hf–Sr–Pb isotopes and trace element geochemistry of Proterozoic lamproites from southern India: Subducted komatiite in the source
The probable sources of some of the famous Indian diamonds are the 1.2 Ga old Krishna lamproites of Southern India, a rare Proterozoic occurrence of lamproites which are usually Cretaceous or younger in age. In this study we report Nd, Sr, Pb and Hf isotopes and multiple trace element concentrations of the Krishna lamproites. The goals are to evaluate mantle-processes and the petrogenesis of th...
متن کاملComments on: ‘Petrogenesis of Proterozoic Lamproites and Kimberlites from the Cuddapah Basin and Dharwar Craton, Southern India’
Kimberlites intrude the late Archaean eastern Dharwar Craton in two spatially separate fields ( 150 km apart, near Mahbubnagar in the north and Anantapur in the south) to the west of the Proterozoic Cuddapah Basin in southern India. Two lamproite bodies intrude the thick Cuddapah Basin sediments near Chelima and Zangamarajupalle, and a third occurs just outside the present NE margin of the basi...
